[name removed] had just started as the nurse in charge of care. She responded quickly and did my Dads assessment in a timely manner. She also is very understanding. [name removed] (director?) was honest and open re: price and level of care they can provide. She also has a great sense of humor. I felt like she cares about the residents. Facility: Cleanliness, surrounding grounds, apartment size, and location

What our family likes the most about the Brookdale Gallatin community is that our loved one is being very well taken care of and is happy. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend them to other families.

This place is very well kept, I see all the staff hands on 24/7 interacting and caring for their residents, meals are beautiful plated, care is exceptional, housekeeping and laundry are done on the clock and activities are engaging to their needs.

Toured for family member who we believed needed assisted living care. Unfortunately my family member needed skilled nursing. If my family member was able to be in a community, this would be the one! Everyone was so friendly and spoke to us during the tour. Community looked and smelled fresh. Highly highly recommend.

My husband has been a resident since January 2024. I have been very pleased with the response of the “team” in regards to all aspects of my husband’s care. The nurses, aides and general staff are all caring and compassionate. As this is a smaller residential facility that deals with only Dementia and Alzheimer’s patients the staff gets to know each resident individually and creates a care plan best suited for his/her individual needs. My husband benefits greatly from the interaction with the staff and the daily activities that are planned by the very capable Activities Director and team. The head of food services and staff have also worked closely with my husband to create accommodations and modifications needed to allow him to have a pleasant dining experience. I have also been welcomed into the community and have begun to create connections that support me as a caregiver. My husband and I spend quality time together now due to the help of everyone at Brookdale Hamilton.

Welcomed every day with happy faces! The meals are individualized and appealing. My husband is adjusted and content. Sales manager is professional and involved. There are always fun activities planned. This spring there are beautiful flowers to welcome us before we get in the door!

I love it. My mom loves it. She is very happy there and I'm very happy. She's there and they take care of her and the place is very clean.All of my family has already noticed an immediate and visible difference in my mother's health and her mental clarity.

The facility and staff overall have been very accommodating. I think the sizes of the apartments are fine and the amenities suit the needs of the residents. We are very appreciative of your organization because if not for A Place For Mom we would not have known about Brookdale Carriage Club.

This community is the hidden gem of Orange County. They have a very attentive staff and management team that genuinely listens and cares to what there residents and families have to say even if it is a critique.

The care is top notch at Brookdale Summer Ridge. The team from the Executive Director and down are all kind, professional and attentive. I love how they all seem to get along like family. My loved one has been cared for like a member of their own family. The building smells nice and the courtyard is gorgeous. I love the landscaping and ease of which my family can get to all of the numerous engaging activities. The food is outstanding. The chef really listens to the residents. Five stars all around!

My late husband and I toured many facilities over a period of months and once we saw Brookdale Memorial City, we knew it would be home.

Wanting a safe and dedicated space for Mom as she drifts in and out of daily life. Such a painful and difficult decision for us to make but at Brookdale-Troutdale we found ourselves surrounded by kindness, competence, professionalism, and compassion as we navigated this new world of memory care. We are grateful for the transparency and open, honest conversations we could have with the director as we processed, compared, and analyzed data and input from a variety of sources. Brookdale-Troutdale staff did their utmost to provide answers, offer time and space for reflection, and always responded with efficiency and confidence. Mom is getting settled in at Brookdale-Troutdale and we feel reassured that we've selected the best memory care available in East Multnomah county.

Every time I enter - someone greets me by name. My brother is very happy at Brookdale. He is finally meeting new people & reaching out to participate in more activities. Thank you!

Brookdale was really wonderful; my aunt was hoping to be able to go back there when she got better but that never happened. As far as [name removed] and I feel Brookdale should receive the highest score possible! That the staff is very caring and listened to our concerns. The only thing is they were short staffed so worked extra hard with what they had.

Everyone at this brookdale facility knows the residents names and makes sure they are acknowledged and gets personal attention from the executive directors down to the care givers and cleaning people. They always treat residents and visitors with dignity and respect.

My mother is currently a resident at Brookdale Northwest Hills and the experience has been great. I am very happy with Brookdale Northwest Hills. This facility is a good fit for my mother and it is very close to me.

Other than price, they made my mom last year of life a wonderful experience. From day one until her passing

I love that my mom had a private room, but also had a friend next-door and other friends that she could eat with or sit on the porch with but she had privacy if some of her family or friends came to see her. I love that she didn't have to try to prepare meals herself or live alone, and it was a friendly convenient place for family to visit. We were able to have a birthday party for her in the big family room. I loved being able to visit with her on the front porch during the summer. I loved being able to be involved with activities like helping to plant flowers for the flowerpots in the summer. I loved that she had some therapy if she needed it. The meals were always delicious and the activities were outstanding! We got to have a tea party at Mother's Day. We had celebrations for Valentines and Halloween and people visited to sing on occasion or she loved church and being able to have a regular Church Sunday like she did at home. my experience with Brookdale was wonderful and I think my mom enjoyed it as well. She would've loved being at home, but she would've been lonely and she had friends and purpose at Brookdale!

Quality of staff care for my spouse was my number one priority. Facility and room layout, facility location, cost, overall size and the personality of the space, and other amenities are also factors. During a short visit, I was able to ask about staff turnover, and was able to see some resident/staff interactions. Staff interaction during the assessment of my spouse as an applicant was valuable. I was also looking at the rooms (size, single or double) and the space configuration (does it seem to fit my spouse’s behavior, eg, is she a pacer or a socializer). I also talked to family members of current residents. I believe one never knows for sure if it will work beforehand. And what works for one family is not always transferable to another resident or family. For me, I am glad I chose Brookdale Meadowment for my spouse. My feelings about the caring and skill of the staff have been confirmed. A single room in a small facility seems right. And location works for me.

When my parents decided to move into assisted living we looked at three places. When we walked into Brookdale Reynolda we knew we had found Mom and Dad’s new home. You walk right into the entry hall which opens up to the dining room and it smelled wonderful. The rooms were clean and freshly painted. The staff were all so welcoming and were sincerely interested in our situation. The care has been phenomenal from the cleaners all the way up to the CNAs and nurses doctors, NPs and PAs. Mom enjoys the food and is always presented a balanced meal. The activity director does an excellent job keeping activities for the residents usually having a morning and afternoon activity each day. The staff coordinates care for each resident and does a great job implementing care. The director told me she loves all her residents and tries to “lay eyes” on each one each day. We offered for Mom to come home with us but she says Brookdale Reynolda is her home now and she wants to stay there.
